Jonathan Bernal serves as Director of Infrastructure and Sustainable Energy of the National Planning Department since 2019. He leads the national urban and modal transport policy, as well as the plans, programs and projects at the level of logistics, intermodality, mining and energy.
Previously he served as Deputy Director of Transportation at the same entity from January 2018 to September 2019. He was a consultant to the Inter-American Development Bank – IADB, Infrastructure Director of the Ministry of Transportation, Minister Avisor of Transportation and National Government Advisor on urban transport, mobility and road safety.
Mr. Bernal holds a master’s degree in Transportation Engineering and Specialization in Traffic, Design and Road Safety.
Jonathan Bernal se desempeña como Director de Infraestructura y Energía Sostenible del Departamento Nacional de Planeación desde 2019. Anteriormente se desempeñó como Subdirector de Transporte en la misma entidad desde el 2018 hasta septiembre de 2019. Fue consultor del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo- BID, Director de Infraestructura del Ministerio de Transporte, Asesor en Ministerio de Transporte y Asesor del Gobierno Nacional en Transporte urbano, movilidad y seguridad vial.
El Dr. Bernal posee una maestría en Ingeniería de Transporte y Especialización en Tráfico, Diseño y Seguridad Vial
